Butler gets new Main Street manager
Butler’s new Main Street manager will be Butler native Chelynne Kramer, according to a statement released by the Butler County Chamber of Commerce on Friday.
Butler Downtown, the state-subsidized community group charged with revitalizing Butler’s business district, has been without a manager since its first manager, Rebecca Smith, hired in 2008, died in a September car crash.
Kramer, who currently serves as Butler Downtown’s promotions chair, will be leaving her position as corporate marketing manager for Armstrong.
She has earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Grove City College and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Geneva College, and is a member of GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Butler and Butler County Young Professionals.
She was elected to Butler Downtown’s board of directors in 2010.
