Red Cross deploys Cranberry man to help with hurricane

CRANBERRY TWP — A township man has been deployed by the American Red Cross to Massachusetts to assist with the emergency planning efforts in preparation for Hurricane Earl.
Larry Clark is part of the Red Cross leadership team being deployed to set up in areas that are most expected to be impacted by the storm, according to a Red Cross news release today.
If the area is affected, Clark will work as a mass care feeding manager, overseeing the feeding operations at Red Cross shelters and out of Red Cross vehicles.
The Red Cross is preparing to open shelters and to feed those affected by the Category 4 storm that is bearing down on the eastern coast of the United States.
This is Clark's third deployment as a Red Cross volunteer.
