Cranberry woman killed in car crash

JACKSON TWP — A Cranberry Township woman died Monday morning in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 79.

Brenda Leigh Fleming, 38, was traveling north about 1 a.m. when she lost control of her Hyundai Elantra on a curve, according to state police.
Her vehicle went off the west berm where it struck a sign warning motorists that road work was a mile up the road.
Fleming's car overturned several times, according to state police.
Fleming was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where she later died.
According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office, Fleming died at 3:39 a.m. of injuries to her pelvis and abdomen.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home in Indiana, Pa.
