Suicide reported at Buffalo bridge
A 53-year-old white male apparently jumped to his death this morning from the Buffalo Creek Bridge that carries Route 28 over the creek and the Butler-Freeport Trail, said Dennis Trzeciak, deputy coroner for Butler County. Trzeciak said the body was discovered by a member of a construction crew who noticed an abandoned vehicle on the bridge and looked over the side of the bridge to the trail below. State police in Kittanning have not yet released the name of the victim.
