'Snoopy' ready to howl on stage at Butler High

The cast of Butler High School's production of the musical "Snoopy" awaits opening night Friday at the senior high school auditorium.

The Butler High School fall musical will be "Snoopy" with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the senior high school auditorium.

Tickets are $5 and are available at May's Music Shoppe, 247 E. Jefferson St., or at the door.

The cast includes: Zach Tomasovic as Snoopy, Pat Fitz as Charlie Brown, Sarah Horner as Lucy, Sarah Bishop as Sally, Logan Olszewski as Peppermint Patty, Nick Furar as Linus, and Alex Barnhart as Woodstock.

Other participants include: Liz Brady, Amelia Bishop and Emily Donato as Woodstock's Flock; and in the ensemble, Michael Alexander, Samantha Barnhart, Ivy Fallecker, Megan Geibel, Cheryl Marshall, Stephanie Miller, Olivia Pascazi, Carly Ratica, Nathan Rebmann, Robin Schmeider, Taylor Smith, Jon Standish and Ben Todd.

In the orchestra are students Laura Lynn Crytzer, conductor; Katie Amerson, piano; Ashley Aul, keyboard; Anja Semanco, guitar; Jesse McKinnis, banjo; Lauren Kiggins, violin; Chad Green, bass, and David Thompson and Brad Bailey, percussion.

Serving as director is Dale VanLaningham. Others on the staff are Beverly Antis, vocal director; Stephanie Marshall, choreographer; Jennifer Mariacher, props; Carol Albright, costumes, and Robert Harrison and David Smith, technical directors.
