ADAMS TWP — About 20 demonstrators made up of current and former workers of the Mars Home for Youth and labor union representatives lined up along Route 228 Thursday afternoon to show their solidarity for five employees who they believe were fired for engaging in union organizing activities.

"Since we work for the public, we're drawing the community's attention and bringing to light the five wrongly fired workers," said Kevin Hunt, spokesman for Service Employees International Union, Local 688.
