Evans City man sought in bank robbery
BUFFALO TWP — Authorities are searching for an Evans City man accused of robbing the National City Bank on Route 356 May 6.
Edward Gene Clutter, 43, was identified from video footage taken by one of the bank's surveillance cameras.
After the Butler Eagle ran a story on the robbery with a still from the video footage, two people called the FBI to identify the suspect.
The FBI and township police are searching for Clutter's car, a 1994 red Chevrolet Cavalier with the license plate number: GTZ-8564.
Anyone spotting Clutter or his vehicle should call 911.
