National City in Buffalo Twp. robbed

BUFFALO TOWNSHIP — The National City Bank at 620 S. Pike Road was robbed at noon today.
"He basically came to the teller's window, told the teller he wasn't kidding and to give him all of the money and no dye packs. Then he left," said officer Tim Derringer of the township police.
The suspect is a white man, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, clean shaven and with black hair. He is estimated to be weigh about 270 pounds and be in his late 40s or early 50s.
He was last seen wearing a burgundy, button-up fleece, blue jeans and white running shoes. He fled north out of the bank's parking lot on foot, presumably to an unknown vehicle, police said.
No one was injured during the robbery, and police said the robber did not show a weapon.
The bank, which is on the corner of Route 356 and Cole Road, was closed for the day.
