Audubon's Maple Madness at the Succop ConservancyType of Event: FAMILY/CHILDREN
Date: March 29, 2014
Location: The Succop Conservancy - 185 Airport Road, Butler, PA
Maple Madness is a fun and family oriented program that dives into the rich history of maple sugaring right here in Western Pennsylvania. Attendees get to experience how sugar maple trees are tapped and the sap collected, and boiled down to the final product-but best of all, ends with a delicious pancake breakfast with locally produced maple syrup!
Come walk our beautiful trails at the Succop Conservancy, while you see how syrup was made from Native Americans to the modern sugar shack!
Fun for the whole family!
