The Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities is co-hosting “Money Matters 2013” in which area residents can learn about building personal wealth, developing and maintaining a retirement nest egg and avoiding financial fraud. This is a free, investor education conference with check-in taking place from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Now in its 10th year, “Money Matters” is geared specifically for the general public. Consumers of all levels of financial knowledge as well as all age ranges are encouraged to attend. Complimentary refreshments and appetizers will be provided throughout the evening. This is not a sales event.

The AARP Foundation, the Investor Protection Trust and AARP Pennsylvania are the co-hosts in this event through the Campaign For Wise and Safe Investing.
