Man flown to hospital after construction site accident

CONCORD TWP — A construction worker was injured around 12:46 p.m. Friday while on a job at 1258 Oneida Valley Road.

According to Butler County 911 emergency service dispatch, a paving roller hit the worker, seriously injured him, including possible multiple leg fractures.

The 911 center later confirmed the worker was flown to an unknown hospital.

State police, North Washington Volunteer Fire Department and Karns City Regional Ambulance Service were called to the scene.

State police officials were unavailable for comment at presstime.
