FBI releases description of bank robbery suspect

A release from the FBI describes the suspect in Wednesday PNC Bank robbery as a white male in his early 30s, between 5'7'' to 5'10'', wearing a black hoodie, sunglasses, and gloves with a white bandana or t-shirt over his face.

A description of the suspect has been released in the Wednesday morning's robbery at the PNC Bank in Cranberry Township.

A release from the FBI describes the suspect as a white male in his early 30s, between 5'7'' to 5'10'', wearing a black hoodie, sunglasses, and gloves with a white bandana or t-shirt over his face.

The investigation into the robbery is ongoing.

A heavy police presence was seen at that time near the PNC Bank on Route 19 near the intersection of North Boundary Road.

At about 10:30 a.m., one officer was seen with a rifle drawn as he patrolled the parking lot area. A K9 unit was also on scene in between the PNC and Pinewood Memorial park. Officers also appeared to be searching a wooded area behind the bank on North Boundary Road.

Several Cranberry Township units, as well as unmarked police vehicles, were seen along Route 19, as were units from the Evans City/Seven Fields Regional Police Department.
