PENN TWP — A motorcyclist has been hospitalized after he slammed into the side of an SUV around 2 p.m. on Route 8.

Police say a 77-year-old Mars woman meant to turn into Diehl Automotive for service, but instead pulled in front of a 70-year-old Valencia man who was driving a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was transported to Allegheny General Hospital, according to police.
