ANSWER: I became a teacher to touch children’s lives and to have an impact on the future. As an educator, the opportunity is always there to say or do something that could positively impact a child’s life forever. That is powerful. QUESTION: What is one sentence that sums up what you believe is the key to teaching? ANSWER: The key to teaching is helping students truly believe in their own potential so that they can act upon those beliefs to achieve their dreams. QUESTION: When you’re not teaching, you most likely can be found doing what? ANSWER: When I am not teaching, you can find me landscaping, traveling, reading or playing with my dog.
