SEVEN FIELDS — Residents will again celebrate the community during a three-day carnival in June.

This will be the third year that Seven Fields will have a community festival in the town park. This year it will be on June 7 to 9, and a resident-run garage sale will coincide with the festival.
The borough also will welcome back Lisko Amusements of Ohio to provide games, rides and food.
Borough manager Tom Smith said Monday that council budgeted $25,000 for the event, but added that the borough will pay much less.
“I don’t even think we spent $12,000,” he said. “We came in way under budget because of community contributions.”
Smith said the borough has gotten donations from community and business leaders as it has in years past. Those funds help pay for a Saturday night fireworks display by Zambelli Fireworks.
The event also will feature live music and a pig roast.
“Each year it’s gotten better with more attendance,” he said. “All indicators are that people really enjoy it and that we’re bringing in folks from outside of the community.”
Even though the event came in under budget, Smith said the borough still is looking for potential sponsors. Anyone interested should contact the borough staff.
