Shelter reservations begin Friday

The Butler County Parks and Recreation department will begin taking reservations for Alameda Park shelters from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday in the first-floor meeting room in the county government on Diamond Street.

Beginning at 1:30 p.m. Friday, reservations will be taken at the park office, which is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Park programs take precedence over other shelter reservations.
Shelter rental prices have not increased, but the alcohol permit rose to $30 at the time of reservation and $40 if obtained later.
