Moe’s restaurant helps fund playground effort



CRANBERRY TWP — Moe’s franchisees Mike Geiger and John Iaquinta will donate $1 of every burrito sold in their Cranberry Township location for the month of February to help fund the Kids Castle playground project.
The ownership team is hopeful that the initiative will generate upward of $5,000 for the project.
In addition to the funds, Geiger and Iaquinta intend to coordinate a Volunteer Day later this summer with their employees to help the project by contributing volunteer labor and donating lunch to those working that day.
The Cranberry Township Community Chest, in partnership with Cranberry CUP, has set a goal of raising $495,000 to replace the Playtime Palace in Community Park.
