SV names assistant principal



JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School Board recently appointed an acting assistant principal for the Rowan and Connoquenessing Valley elementary schools.

Christin Jamery of Sewickley will fill that position that became vacant when Nannette Farmar accepted a promotion to become the acting principal at Rowan Elementary in Cranberry.
Jamery has been in the district since 2007 and most recently worked as a first-grade teacher at Rowan. She also previously taught kindergarten at Evans City Elementary.
She has served on the Seneca Valley Foundation Board of Trustees as well as being a member of the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program core team.
Jamery earned a degree in rhetoric and communication from the University of Pittsburgh. She is certified in special education and is expected to complete a master’s degree in August.
