Family series continues at SVHS

JACKSON TWP — Michael Rosen’s award-winning book “We’re Going On a Bear Hunt” will be brought to the stage in a fun-filled adaptation at 2 p.m. Jan. 13 at Seneca Valley Senior High School.

The story’s adventurers go on a quest to find a bear as they wade through gigantic grass, a splashy river and thick, oozy mud. Audience members can expect interactive scenes and plenty of hands-on adventure. The 55-minute show is recommended for children ages 3 to 10.
Presented as part of the Pittsburgh International Children’s Theater Family Series, the KW & NB Ltd. group from the United Kingdom stages the show.
Advance tickets are $9.50 or $11 the day of show.
The final show of the Family Series will be “Martha Speaks” staged by Theatreworks USA at 2 p.m. Feb. 17 at Seneca Valley. Other locations in the Pittsburgh area will have the “Martha Speaks” show between Feb. 10 and 17 as well.
