School to host financial aid night
ADAMS TWP — Mars High School will host a Financial Aid Information Night at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The event, which is geared toward parents of juniors and seniors, will include a presentation by a representative of PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency), followed by a question and answer session.
Topics will include loans, grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities and how eligibility is determined.

Parent training workshops offered
ADAMS TWP — Mars School District Office of Special & Gifted Education will offer several parent training workshops from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the following dates:
• Wednesday — “Evaluations: Why? When? What?” at Mars Elementary School library
•March 13 — “Executive Functioning Skills: Planning Organizing, Time Management” at Mars Centennial School library
• April 24 — “Self-Advocacy: Your Child’s Own Voice” at Mars Middle School library
