Schools to observe Red Ribbon Week
ADAMS TWP — Mars Centennial School and Mars Primary Center will offer various theme days in celebration of Red Ribbon Week, Monday through Friday:


Mars Centennial School
• Monday — “Pledge to Be Drug Free” Day. Students are encouraged to wear red colors to school
• Tuesday — “Follow Your Dreams, Don't Do Drugs” Day. Students may wear pajamas and slippers to school
• Wednesday — “Sock It to Drugs” Day. Students are asked to wear crazy socks to school
• Thursday — “Team Up Against Drugs” Day. Students may wear their favorite sports team apparel to school.
• Friday — “Dress Up to Put Down Drugs” Day. Students are encouraged to bring costumes to school to wear at the school's annual Fall Festival Parties.

Mars Primary Center
• Monday — Students will make a pledge to remain drug free
• Tuesday — “Don't Slip Into Drugs” Day. Students are asked to wear slippers to school
• Wednesday — “Rally in Red” Day. Students are encouraged to wear red clothes to school. Students will attend “The Josh & Gab Show,” an anti-bullying musical comedy program featuring Josh Verbanets and Gab Bonesso, at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Thursday — “Sock It to Drugs” Day. Students may wear crazy socks to school
• Friday — “Team Up Against Drugs” Day. Students are asked to wear their favorite sports team apparel to school. Students will attend an “Officer Phil” assembly on safety and crime prevention at 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
