Delays likely due to I-79 construction

ZELIENOPLE — Drivers on Interstate 79 will experience delays during high-traffic times while work is conducted on five bridges between Jackson, Muddy Creek and Lancaster townships during the next month.

The north and south travel lanes of I-79 will be closed primarily between mile marker 86.5 and mile marker 87 near Exit 87 (Route 68, Zelienople), while painting, repairs and other minor construction is conducted. The passing lanes in each direction will remain open.
The $2.28 million bridge preservation project is scheduled for completion in early November.
