QUESTION: Why did you become a teacher?
ANSWER: Throughout my years of schooling, I was fortunate enough to have some amazing and very influential teachers. Because of those teachers, I knew I wanted to be able give that same experience to others. Teaching gives me the opportunity to pass on my enthusiasm for learning and show my students what a quality education means to their future.
QUESTION: What is one sentence that sums up what you believe is the key to teaching?
ANSWER: The key to teaching is getting your students to understand that knowledge is power and can take them wherever they want to go in life!
QUESTION: When you're not teaching, you most likely can be found doing what?
ANSWER: When I'm not teaching, I am usually spending time with my family and friends. I also love to travel and visit new cities or countries whenever I have the opportunity.
QUESTION: What is one thing about you that likely would surprise your students?
ANSWER: I was a competitive dancer for 12 years, as well as a member of my university's competitive dance team.
