QUESTION: Why did you become a teacher?
ANSWER: My mother inspired me to become a teacher. A former teacher herself, she passed to me her passion and gift to make everyone feel important and valued.
QUESTION: What is one sentence that sums up what you believe is the key to teaching?
ANSWER: I believe the key to teaching is to figure out students’ interests and use that to motivate them to learn and achieve to their highest potential.
QUESTION: When you’re not teaching, you most likely can be found doing what?
ANSWER: I enjoy reading, playing golf, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
QUESTION: What is one thing about you that likely would surprise your students?
ANSWER: I have visited 49 out of 50 states that make up our beautiful country.
