Local Author Pens Coming-of-Age Novella

"My Indian Queen" is a coming-of-age love story set in the American South, between a young male protagonist and his feisty new Indian neighbor. Their relationship takes wing over the course of one summer, only to be brought to earth by a devastating prospect: going to college and ending their summer romance. What choices will they make, and how will they alter the shape of their lives to come?
