Senior Housing Showcase Presents Options for Adult Seniors

Orchard Hill Church Transitions in lifestyle can be an overwhelming experience. This can be particularly true in the later stages in life, when making a change becomes more of a necessity. The options can seem overwhelming but fortunately, there are sources of information and assistance.

On Thursday, May 17, 2012, Orchard Hill Church will host a Senior Housing Showcase. Featuring over 15 North Hills communities for adult seniors, this event is open to the entire community. From 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, the day will also include representatives from each housing community and an informational program along with live entertainment and door prizes. The event is free to the public. Lunch is available onsite.

The showcase is sponsored by Senior Link, a gathering of adult seniors at Orchard Hill Church. This monthly meeting creates a caring community which provides an opportunity to communicate educational information on relevant life stage topics. “Often Seniors find that transitioning to a simpler lifestyle improves their quality of life and financial security, “says Nancy Rupert, a team leader for Senior Link. “Our goal in hosting the Senior Community Showcase is to provide good information to our community about the many choices available to adult seniors so that they will be better equipped to understand the unique qualities of each of the communities represented. “

Orchard Hill is an inter-denominational church located 10 miles north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania off of Interstate 79 at 2551 Brandt School Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
