Eddie Trizzino began his reporting duties at the Eagle at the end of February, 2021, after working as a reporter in Fairmont, W.Va., for just over three years. Trizzino is originally from Robinson Township. He attended Point Park University, earning a degree in journalism in 2017. His beat covers the central part of Butler County, including Butler, Butler Township, Center Township, Summit Township, Connoquenessing Township, as well as Butler County Community College, Slippery Rock University and Butler Area School District. In his spare time, the Butler transplant enjoys watching movies, running, listening to and playing music, and listening to and recording podcasts. He also enjoys playing basketball, taking long walks, stand-up comedy and going to every restaurant in sight.
